Thank you for changing lives! 

Last year, supporters convened for small gatherings, or virtually, to learn more about the services of Ballard Center at the Virtual Changing Lives Gala for 2020. They applauded the success of two Ballard families, and maybe even shed a tear as their touching stories were shared in the videos below. Board member John Krehbiel eloquently detailed the importance of supporting Ballard’s mission, and CEO Becky Price laid out the struggles the Ballard Center has faced since the outbreak of COVID-19.

In turn, the guests heard our call to change lives and responded by supporting the most vulnerable in our community. These personal, at-home events played a crucial role in assisting Ballard in its mission of helping families achieve self-sufficiency through early childhood education and needs-based services. 

The Need

We may not be able to bring our speakers and kids to you in person, but we’ve got the next best thing with these two videos! First, the Ballard Center children look back on the months we were closed and why they’re glad to be back. Second, listen to two families linked to the Ballard Center share their heartwarming stories. Ballard has helped both families overcome obstacles and stand strong in the face of adversity.
