Changing Times, Changing Lives...

Mission: The Ballard Center partners with individuals and families to achieve stability through early childhood education and needs-based services by cultivating a strong network of organizations, businesses, and individuals dedicated to serving our community.

Vision: At Ballard, we envision a community where every individual, child, and family have access to resources and support to reach their goals of stability, safety, health, and well-being.

In addition to providing affordable high-quality early childhood education, we offer services to help families when they experience difficulties, so a stable family environment for children can be maintained. With the help of generous community donations, Ballard provides wrap-around supports to families through our food pantry, clothing closets, emergency assistance programs and other initiatives.

“But here’s the truth we
can’t ignore: the same people fighting poverty in our community are often still living in it. Our team’s sacrifices to serve others aren’t acts of heroism—they’re evidence of an unjust system that too often makes hard-working people feel unworthy of basic
respect and dignity.”– Kyle Roggenkamp, Executive Director

“Thanks to you, Ballard is now entering a new era of community service with a precision focus on Best Client Outcomes. Our dreams of teaching and supporting families to achieve self-sustainability are becoming self-evident every day.” – Kyle Roggenkamp, Executive Director
