Position: Part-Time Early Childhood Educator

We have an opening for a part-time float teacher in our early childhood education program. Using best practice education and social/emotional curriculums you will teach children ages 2- 5. Hours for this position are M, W, F. Past experience in childcare preferred. Looking to hire immediately! Spanish-speaking is a plus.

Job Duties:

  • Supports lead teacher and implements daily lesson plan and classroom activities
  • Coordinates meals, snacks, nap time and bathroom activities
  • Maintains classroom organization and performs daily housekeeping duties
  • Provides support and supervises relevant volunteers when related to current job duties

Requirements within 30 days of employment include:

  • First Aid/CPR certification (Ballard will provide if not already current)
  • Health assessment and negative TB test
  • Satisfactory KBI Criminal Background Check

Pay: Starting pay based on education and experience.
