Ballard's 7% Tuition Model: Affordability is a Conversation

High Quality Care Shouldn't Be Unaffordable. Join the 7% Conversation.

The Department of Health and Human Services has defined affordable early child care as costing no more than 7% of a family’s gross income. By leveraging a combination of Kansas Department of Children and Family subsidies, scholarship funds from organizations such as Positive Bright Start, and Ballard funds, we offer tuition that will cost you no more than 7% of your income out-of-pocket, no matter how many children you have in Ballard care. El Departamento de Salud y Servicios Humanos ha definido el cuidado infantil temprano asequible como aquel que no cuesta más del 7% de los ingresos brutos de una familia. Mediante una combinación de subsidios del Departamento para Niños y Familias (DCF), becas de organizaciones como Positive Bright Start y fondos de Ballard, ofrecemos una matrícula que no le costará más del 7% de sus ingresos de su propio bolsillo, sin importar cuántos hijos tenga inscritos en Ballard.
