Classroom Descriptions

Two Years

Two years old is a wonderful age. They are finally mobile and able to articulate questions to satisfy their curiosity. In our classrooms, we offer many types of learning to encourage and support their inquisitive nature.
  • Classroom art sessions
  • Self-directed play
  • Group learning classes

Pre-K

With Pre-K students, we believe preparation is key, and that is why at the Ballard Center we strive to prepare our students for kindergarten. Our staff members work in groups and one-on-one with students on literacy and numbers. Our early education classrooms also employ a trauma-informed curriculum in addition to:
  • Arts and crafts
  • Hands-on learning sessions
  • Problem-solving and responsive listening
  • Social skills development
